MX Clears are stiffer variants of MX Browns. With a more tactile bump, and a stiffer spring, these offer a nicer typing experience than their lighter counterpart.
These MX Clears are also great for modding. You can make Ergo clears by using lighter springs found in MX Blues, Browns, or Reds. Or you can make Panda Clears with the springs from MX Blacks.
Cherry have stated that they won't be retooling the housing for Cherry Clear switches.
We have asked if Cherry are willing to make these switches with Retooled MX Blue housing. We are waiting to get confirmation on this.
