• Where is Daily Clack Located?
      Daily Clack was established in Victoria and is proudly Australian!
      The warehouse and fulfilment center is currently based in Sydney. Support staff are located in varying locations; Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
    • Can I pick up my order?
      DC is an e-commerce business without a dedicated shop-front. Unfortunately, customers are not able to pick up orders.
    • Will you have extras of [X] GMK set?
      A large majority of Daily Clack’s extra GMK sets from a [GB] are sold during the [Pre-Order] phase. Once Pre-Orders sell out, there are only a small amount of “extras” which are held as reserves to account for potential order issues.
      Once all [GB] and [Pre-Order] customers have been accounted for and their items sent out, Daily Clack will list any extras. An announcement will be made in the #dc-updates channel of the discord. We do not disclose when, or how many sets are available.
      Due to the nature of how DC handles extras, there is usually only a very limited amount avaliable and not all kits are guaranteed.
    • Will you have extras of [GB item I am interested in]?
      Maybe!
      Extras are entirely dependant on replacements and post GB support.This is the case with every GB product on the store.
      The only way to know when they become available is by assigning yourself the UPDATES role in role-request on our Discord Server to be pinged about any extras drops.

    • What is the store currency?
      The prices on Daily Clack are all converted to AUD.
      10% Goods and Services Tax is included in all published prices.
      If you're an international customer this sales tax is offset and used to make postage cheaper for you.
    • Which couriers are used for domestic shipping?
      Daily Clack has a few shipping partners, primarily for orders 500g and below, AusPost is the courier used.
      Standard delivery times are 5 business days, though this may vary. Express post is 1-2 business days to most major cities.
      Standard shipping is $6.20 for <500g
      Express shipping is $9 for <500g.

    • When can I expect a reply from support?
      Please allow 1-4 business days for support to address your ticket.
      Our support staff work Monday-Friday (AEDT Hours). Support does not work on weekends.
    • How do I make a support ticket in the discord?
      Once in the DC Discord, find a channel called #shipment-and-support.
      Click the button from our support bot which says “open a ticket”.
      You will get a ping, and a new channel will open towards the bottom of the Discord.
    • Does Daily Clack send internationally?
      Yes, we do!
      Our international shipping prices start at 10 AUD for 250g.
      Imports, duties, and taxes are all the responsibility of the customer. Refusing to pay duties will result in your order being cancelled minus the TOTAL shipping cost (inclusive of return) and any other applicable fees.
      Limitations on shipping are:
      • EU and UK have a minimum order value of 240 AUD
      • Malaysia shipping is only via AusPost
      • Shipping to Russia and Ukraine is temporarily suspended.
      Furthermore, all of Daily Clack's prices are in AUD
    • How can I get Free international Shipping?
      To be eligible for free international shipping, simply spend more than 200AUD and enter this coupon code at the checkout.

    • What postal services are used for international orders?
      International shipments utilise Australia Post for the Standard and Express shipping methods, and DHL International Express is avliable at request.
      Delivery times start at 5 business days and can take up to 20-30 business days before delivery.
    • Shipping carrier return to sender disclaimer
      In the event our shipping carrier is unable to contact you to discuss customs fees, Daily Clack will contact you via the email on your order. If you do not reply within 3 business days, your order will be returned to our warehouse.You will be charged a 50AUD return to sender fee as well as the original shipping cost.
    • When can I expect my order to ship?
      Our warehouse aims to process all In-Stock orders within 1-5 business days.
      Choosing the “Express” shipping option does not mean your order is prioritised for fulfilment. Express refers to the express postal service, NOT express fulfilment.
      Group Buy or Pre-Order items will not ship immediately and can only start shipping once they arrive at our warehouse.
    • How long will shipping take?
      Delivery times are heavily dependent on courier services. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they have been under immense strain which likely means some sort of delay on delivery.

    • Why hasn’t my tracking updated in [X] days?
      Sometimes it can take a while for the next scan for your order tracking, especially if you're overseas.

    • My order says Delivered, but it actually wasn't delivered...
      Please get in contact with us ASAP so that we can raise an investigation with the courier service used for your order.
    • How can I update my shipping address?
      Contact us via email, discord or our order support page and we can assist in editing your orders shipping address.
    • What kind of shipping do I get with a Free Shipping code?
      All shipping discount codes are for standard shipping (Australia Post) unless otherwise stated.
    • Why do I get an error when I add items to my cart?
      This is intentional; In-Stock items cannot be combined with [GB] or [Pre-Order] items.
      Example: [GB] GMK Mizu and Krytox 205g0
      Listings with a [GB] or [Pre-Order] are not able to be combined with other [GB] or [Pre-Order] listings.
      Example 1: [GB] GMK Mizu and [GB] GMK Mizu desk mat
      Example 2: [Pre-Order] GMK Minimal and [Pre-Order] GMK Redacted
      Desk mats and keycaps are produced through different manufacturers. There will be a discrepancy on the arrival and completion, with desk mats finishing faster than keycaps. Rather than have them sit on shelves waiting for GB items to arrive, we prefer to have them on their way to you!
    • Can I combine a [GB] order with a [Pre-Order] of the same product?
      Due to limitations with shopify, we are not able to combine a recently available Pre-Order with your previous Group Buy, even though they are the same product.
    • Can I change my order / Can I add stuff
      Please do not make another order and ask to combine the two orders; send Support a message asking to add to your existing order, instead.
      Only in stock items can be ordered with other in stock items. Unfortunately due to Shopify limitations, orders older than 60 days cannot be changed.
      Please get in touch with support to make any adjustments to your order.

    • Can I cancel my order?
      You are able to cancel your order as long as our warehouse team has not yet processed your order.
      If you have paid via credit card then there are no fees for cancellation.

      You are entitled to cancel and receive a refund for your GB / Pre-Order at any time, however, it means forfeiting any possible bonuses.

      To make the cancellation process quicker; please state and confirm you accept the 3% cancellation fee.

    • My order has been shipped, but I’ve changed my mind. Can I return my order?
      Please ensure your order is correct, as once your order has been shipped, we cannot verify the use of the products, and therefore cannot accept change of mind returns.
    • What is the minimum order for EU and UK?
      Due to new VAT rules, there are minimum order amounts now for orders to these parts of the world.
      This means a flat rate of 24AUD for DHL Express for most orders. Things that will be shipped via standard shipping for this rate are dense low value items (JTK Trays for example).
      The minimum order for both the UK and EU regions is $240 AUD.
    • Can you change the billing address of my order?
      Unfortunately, shopify does not allow us to edit the billing address for your order. We can however edit the shipping address if you require.
    • What does [GB] mean?
      Group Buys or [GB] is the pre-production phase of the product - most commonly keycaps.
      Think of it as crowdfunding, similar to KickStarter. Money is raised for the product during a set time period (most of the time a month long).
      At this point, it makes sense to spread the cost between as many people as possible in order to target an attractive price point.
      Given the nature of supply and demand, the price listed on Daily Clack during a [GB] is usually the lowest price you'll pay. Consider it a reward for being an early supporter!
    • What does [Pre-Order] mean?
      Once the [GB] stage has completed, we move our items into [Pre-Order]. The order has been submitted to the manufacturer and production is underway.
      Daily Clack, like other vendors, order extra units. It really sucks to miss out on a group buy.
      We list our vendor extras as [Pre-Order], helping you to secure yourself a set at a slight mark up. This prevents fighting for extras once they're ready to ship, and you also get it for cheaper than in stock price.
      Sometimes, we also order a bulk of items and skip the GB phase. These items are cheaper and also marked as [Pre-order].
    • What is Daily Clack’s Group Buy Policy?
      Group Buy items don’t have a definite shipping date, the dates and timeline provided are rough estimates given to us at the time of ordering. As time progresses, these dates may become inaccurate.
      Sometimes things can and do go wrong, which causes delays and overall impacts the delivery timeline.
      You are entitled to cancel and refund your preorder, which means you forfeit any bonuses.

    • Where can I find the latest status of a [GB]?
      The most up to date information about the status of a Group Buy can be found on the main vendors site. For most GMK sets there may also be updates on a respective Geekhack IC/GB page.
    • The estimated delivery date has passed but the item still says [Pre-Order], is it ready to ship now?
      We remove the [Pre-Order] & [GB] tag when the item arrives and is ready to ship. If they still have these labels on them, then the item is still in production and is most likely delayed.
      If you can add the item to your cart, you can still purchase them.
    • When will [X] Group Buy be live?
      DC announces group buys during Australian business hours. When they go live, a ping is given in the Discord server. If there is a specific launch time it will be announced by the designer.
    • What is the status of [X] deskmat Group Buy?
    • Due to the nature of deskmat GBs, we do not receive updates or advance notice of when they will be arriving at our warehouse.
    • What is the status of Kat/Kam GBs?
      Statement from Keyreative:
      "Overall, we will still be seeing delays for past GB sets, and keyreative is investing in catching up. Doubleshot is in the works and Keyreative has analyzed 2-3 sets that they would suggest switching to it currently. We together with Keyreative's holder will reach out to vendors and designers to discuss if it is possible to switch to doubleshot, if both parties cannot agree on switching, the design will remain using dye-sub.
      KAM profile is more friendly with dye-subbing and a lot more controllable. But the delays with KAT will affect the KAM timeline as well.
      With discussion with keyreative, their current report on the new machine is making positive progress: color difference from batch to batch and legends misalignment issue is much easier to control."
      Essentially this means there's light at the end of the tunnel, however, it's safe to assume that every Keyreative set is well behind schedule.

    • Why do my keycaps have chips/marks on them?
      These markings are known as sprue marks. This is normal and is necessary for injection moulded products.

    • How much will 2ml of Krytox lube last?
      Krytox lube is meant to be applied sparingly.
      A 2ml vial from Daily Clack is enough to cover >300 switches.
      It is recommended to apply a tiny, tiny amount per switch, otherwise your switches may feel sluggish and overlubbed.
    • What is Phatty’s favourite switch?
      Holy Butt Cracks - without a doubt. This is the best tactile switch, no argument on this one unfortunately, anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

    • What is the Best Lube for [X] switch?
      Unfortunately this is a "How long is a piece of string question". It all comes down to preference, however, we can only recommend what we our personal go tos are:
      Phatty's Phavourites
      • 206g2 - chunky peanut butter consistency. Dampens sound and gives a buttery smooth feeling. Don't apply too much
      • 3203 - if you're not using 206, then we recommend 3203 as it keeps the feeling of the switch but removes any scratchiness
      • 205 & 3204 - personally, I only use these for stabilisers as the above two lubes are significantly better
      • Silicone Oil - these are great value oils to use on springs. They remove "ping" and "crunch" sounds.
      • RO-59 - Used for Nylon housing as this PTFE solution functions better than the above.
